Moulvibazar is one of the subdivisions of Greater Sylhet District. Moulvibazar has a lot of reputation as a bud of two leaves. At present 01 Superintendent of Police, 04 Additional Superintendents of Police, 02 Assistant Superintendents of Police, 35 Inspectors of Police (unarmed), 02 Inspectors of Police (Armed), 04 TIs, 96 SIs (unarmed), 16 SIs (Armed) ), 03 SIs (female), 06 Sergeants, 06 TSIs, 133 ASIs (unarmed), 05 ASIs (unarmed women), 14 ASIs (armed), 16 ATSIs, 23 Naiks, 541 constables. (Male), 100 constables (female) with a total of 1013 manpower sanctioned by the government.
