Moulvibazar is one of the subdivisions of Greater Sylhet District. Moulvibazar has a lot of reputation as a bud of two leaves. Moulvibazar district was established on 22.02.1984 in the context of government decision to upgrade Bangladesh to 64 districts in 1974. (Male), 100 constables (female) with a total of 1013 manpower sanctioned by the government.
